During the pandemic in 2022, as the world paused, we reflected on what truly matters — our health and the health of our planet. That’s when the idea of Bamboology was born. As industry veterans with over 22 years of combined experience in fashion and retail, we saw an urgent need to reduce fashion’s carbon footprint and create clothing that’s not just stylish, but sustainable and skin-safe.

We started by innovating a leakproof, reusable bamboo menstrual panty — addressing both hygiene and the 5 billion ton annual landfill problem caused by single-use sanitary products in India. The response was powerful, and demand pushed us to expand into sustainable innerwear, activewear in 2023-24, and Gen Z all-day oversized T-shirts in April 2025— all made from bamboo eco-friendly fabrics.
