Chengavi was born from a deeply personal pursuit. Co-founder Jagathi Reddy Krishnapuram, raised in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, grew up watching her grandmother craft age-old remedies with intention and care. That generational wisdom became the seed of a lifelong mission: to elevate Ayurveda into the future of luxury skincare.

Together with Dr. Vishnu Prasanth Vinukonda — a biotechnologist from a 250-year Ayurvedic lineage — Jagathi spent over four years in meticulous research and formulation, fusing traditional Ayurvedic principles with the rigour of modern science. The result is a range of formulations that honour purity, balance, and simplicity while setting new benchmarks in the Ayurvedic beauty industry.
