Help Us Green is a Kanpur-based social enterprise that turns floral waste collected from temples into natural incense sticks, dhoop cones and gift hampers. Founded in 2015, it set out to stop flowers offered at temples from ending up in the Ganges, and it now “flowercycles” around 2.5 tonnes of flower waste every day in Uttar Pradesh.

What Help Us Green Does

Flowers are collected at source from temples, sorted and cleaned, mixed with natural herbs and hand-rolled by a team of local women artisans. The result is chemical-free incense with no synthetic fragrance, packed in eco-friendly boxes. The company reports more than 21,000 metric tonnes of temple waste flowercycled to date and employs 23 women, giving rural families a steady livelihood.
