Technical Specifications

The IIT Jodhpur EV Charging Station is a 72 KW capacity multi-connector fast-charging hub, supporting multiple EV models and charging standards:

• DC Fast Charge CCS2 Gun (50 KW): Compatible with most modern electric cars including Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona, MG ZS EV, and others using the Combined Charging System 2 standard.
• DC Fast Charge CHAdeMO Gun (50 KW): Compatible with EV models using the CHAdeMO charging protocol.
• AC Fast Charge Type 2 Socket (22 KW): Suitable for EV two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and cars using the Type 2 AC charging standard.

Partnership with YoCharge

The IIT Jodhpur EV Charging Station was launched in partnership with YoCharge, a renewable energy-based EV charging infrastructure and services company. The station operates on YoCharge’s EV Charging Management Platform, enabling fully automated, unmanned operations with integrated payment gateway support.
