Founder Siddhant Bhalinge grew up surrounded by seeds — his family’s company Namdeo Umaji, established in 1885, is one of the oldest seed businesses in India. Drawing on that deep heritage, Siddhant launched Ugaoo in 2015 to bridge the gap between traditional agricultural knowledge and the growing demand for home gardening in Indian cities.
